You want to go further and beyond? your ski tours often extend into the four-digit vertical meter range? and you won't sacrifice any joy on the descent? Then the BlackbirdTOUR is your freeride weapon of choice! Like the PRO version, the TOUR version of the Blackbird Family offers excellent downhill performance. The full carbon construction in combination with the super lightweight and stron PAO Tripple-Wood Cores keeps the weight down, making the BlackbirdTOUR ideal for long hikes. The high-end material increases flex stiffness while reducing the weight of the ski by around 14%. Despite its width and length, the ski is very easy to turn thanks to its Continous-Rocker-Camber. All in all, the perfect ski for freeriders who love to enjoy vast backcountry Freetouring to the fullest extend.
the BlackbirdPRO is shaped with a self-developed parametric computer program. Computer-aided design collects all data like radius, weight, force flow,... and helps optimizing the shape and the chosen material and where it should be positioned to achive the best performing Ski.

the BlackbirdTOUR Sandwich
The BlackbirdTOUR goes to the extremes. From bottom to top: sintered base in one of 7 colors and steel edges that extend forward into the tip and tail. The edges are embedded in VDS tape to reduce vibration. On top of this is a layer of T300 carbon fiber and the Tripple-Wood Core. For even more weight reduction and more torsional stiffness, this is followed by another layer of T300 carbon fiber, which makes the ski particularly interesting for Backcountry Freetourers. In the area of the binding, the core is reinforced by a titanal plate. The design is rounded off by one of the 7 SaRaiFo wood covers and a multi-layer protective coating.
